Zach Wendling is a freelance travel writer and photographer. In between
assignments, he conducts independent research on transmutation, alphabetic
harmonics, and cryptozoology. Zach is currently seeking a grant from the
National Science Foundation to fund an intercontinental expedition on
cryptozoological research. He has three degrees from Indiana University and
is certified in wildland firefighting.
Zach started writing for In the Agora after winning a contest in December of
2004. He beat out several finalists based upon his background in policy
analysis, his ability to recollect obscure tidbits, and his domination of
the evening wear competition. He joined ITA after leaving his position as
Editor-in-Chief of the Hoosier Review, whose board of directors fired him
after a disastrous IPO.
Through blogging, Zach hopes to inspire a rapid cultural evolution sending
man on a trajectory toward enlightenment.
