Seymour is currently a senior chemist with a pharmaceutical company in the Philadelphia area. He is pursuing a Master of Science degree in analytical chemistry from Lehigh University.

Seymour holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Indiana University. While at IU, he was a columnist for the Indiana Daily Student and co-founded the original Hoosier Review, the first online alternative news source at Indiana University.

A midwesterner at heart, Seymour was born in Michigan and grew up in Indiana. He is a staunch conservative both fiscally and socially, though his social stances are tempered by a strong sympathy with libertarian ideals.
