« Sports Do Not Build Character | Main | For the YouTubers » September 11, 2007InstaProphetGlenn Reynolds, writing on 9/11/01, six years ago today: It's Not Just Terrorists Who Take Advantage: Someone will propose new "Antiterrorism" legislation. It will be full of things off of bureaucrats' wish lists. They will be things that wouldn't have prevented these attacks even if they had been in place yesterday. Many of them will be civil-liberties disasters. Some of them will actually promote the kind of ill-feeling that breeds terrorism. That's what happened in 1996. Let's not let it happen again. Let me also commend the 9/11 Digital Archive, a history project which is recording remembrances of that fateful day. Posted by David Darlington at September 11, 2007 09:27 PM CommentsAccording to the time stamp on the bulletin board system I was on, at 9:56 a.m. on 9/11/01, I wrote: "The trick is to channel righteous vengeance toward the correct source and not let the outrage be manipulated for cynical political ends.
