Brooks Strikes Again
David Brooks has filed a compelling piece with the NYT titled "The Center Holds". Here's a tease: "Now it's evident that if you want to understand the future of the Democratic Party you can learn almost nothing from the bloggers, billionaires and activists on the left who make up the 'netroots.'"

I saw this piece and a very similar one from Patrick Ruffini... http://www.patrickruffini.com/2007/09/24/hillary-will-not-end-this-war/.
Triangulation rides again. If the Beltway punditocracy and the Republican establishment are making their peace with Hillary as president because, really, she won't change things too much, all the more reason to make sure she never gets within 100 yards of the Oval Office.
A Bush or Clinton in the White House from 1989 to 2013 (or, God forbid, 2017). Angels and ministers of grace defend us...

DB keeps trying to explain that those of us who want our troops out of Iraq are the "radical left" and that guys like Joe Lieberman who wants to start a war with Iran are the "center." Is anybody buying that outside of Brooks' cocoon in Washington DC?
