Romney's Pro-Life Rumblings
It appears that Mitt Romney has tapped Indiana's own James Bopp to advise him on pro-life issues. Bopp, you will recall, has been instrumental in the recent partial-birth abortion cases.
From my perspective, this is a clear move on Romney's part to legitimate his more recent pro-life stance, not to mention his faith, in the eyes of the Evangelical and Catholic communities. While I have not assessed the issue, some claim that there are substantial considerations with regards to the LDS Church and abortion. Thoughts?

If I'm reading the article you linked to in the last full sentence, the Mormon take is what I acronym as RIMLID (Rape, Incest, Mother's Life In Danger). They add fetal deformity as well, but give me a little poetic licence.
RIMLID is Duyba's take as well, IIRC.
If Romney toes the LDS line, he'll be in the pro-life camp, at least in regards to naming justices who would overturn Roe. He might not be as anti-abortion as some conservatives would like, but enough to overturn Roe if President Romney gets to pick a replacement for a center-left justice.
That would be enough for me on that front; we're unlikely to get much further right than RIMLID in any federal legislation. That assumes that the Feds have the right to regulate abortion in the first place; that may well be an open question that some of the more conservative members might vote down federal abortion law on 10th amendment grounds
