Russians Attack ITA
It appears as though the ITA Forum has been "HACKED-BY--ZULUM", a shady character of Russian origins. (Warning: by clicking on the forum link you're offered to download a file; don't download it). If anyone with forum know-how would like to lend a hand in removing the hack while saving the forum, please feel free to drop us a line.

The folks at phpBB will give assistance if you contact their security support team...
You could also restore a backup copy of the DB backend if you have one, or perhaps export all transactions prior to the hack date.

I would have to second what Foltz said. I moved from phpBB to WebWiz forums a few months back after the second hack job destroyed everything in my science fiction club's forums except the membership list. I remember some of what I learned while fixing the first hack of the board but it requires full access to ITA's management toolbox section of the web hosting system where the forum is hosted. Scripts and databases have to be examined. It's probably something they planted in one of your mySQL databases.

What you really need is for someone to make sure this doesn't happen again by taking a baseball bat to the hacker's computer.

Pheh! He or she can buy (or quite possibly steal) a new computer. Someone needs to take a baseball bat to the hacker's *head*! :-P

No need to kill him or put him in a coma. He'll be quite incapable of typing with broken fingers.
