The Indy 500

A couple of my good friends are Indy 500 princesses this year. Each year one is selected as the Indy 500 Queen, who gets the honor of kissing the race's winner. But with Danica Patrick in the race again, the Indianapolis Star asks a good question: what happens if she wins?

Somehow, they all look alike.

We all win.

Perhaps one of those cheek brushing kisses we see in Europe or the Middle East would be appropriate.

I'm sure most of these women look perfectly normal in real life, but those are almost 100% terrible pictures. Most of their heads look squished a bit.

They'll shake hands.

Which ones do you know?

The 500 Queen will kiss her, and Danica will probably kiss her back. She won't even give it a second thought. Women have no hangups about kissing each other and men love it.

Well, the solution is obvious. There will have to be another 500 court of princes. That way, if Danica wins, she'll have a guy to kiss ;-)

Come to think of it... if the winner is gay or lesbian, there could also be a unique problem...

If she wins, she can sue for sexual harrassment if she feels pressured into a kiss. If she loses, she can sue for sexual discrimination if the thought of being kissed be another woman tampers with her desire to win.

I think there should be an Indy King for just such an emergency. Josh is going to volunteer, too, right, Josh? :)
