Final Combined Medal Count
But first, one last unorthodox Olympic note. During the closing ceremonies on Sunday night, a man wearing a T-shirt with the name of an online casino managed to get up onto the stage beside the Italian Olympic chairman. This is partly amusing, but also rather annoying. The casino that hired him has regularly marketed itself with such stunts, which carry the sophistication of a loud belch in the middle of an orchestra concert.
Question (especially for ITA's readers versed in the law): Does (and should) the casino risk any civil or criminal penalties for hiring people to commit trespass?
(I like how the blog post linked above asks whether "some idiot [will] dare to do this in China and risk their life?)
Without further ado, the final medal count. Since my last update, Germany moved ahead of China for 3rd place, home team Italy edged out France for 6th, and S. Korea moved ahead of Japan for 8th place:

Golden Palace could be held liable under the doctrine of Respondeat Superior if it can be shown this bum was acting as the agent of GP.
