Turning to Blogs

RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman hosted a conference call today at 2:30 pm with conservative bloggers to talk about the Harriet Miers' nomination. Unfortunately I couldn't make it. Hotline On Call: "This is a sign that the RNC is taking the blogosphere more seriously. And look for other, subtle changes to the party's web strategy in the days to come."

I credit the strategy to ITA friend and RNC's new chief blogger, Patrick Ruffini, who announced his new position on his blog earlier.

Professor Bainbridge liveblogged the conference call and has a roundup of other bloggers' reactions.
