Now That's Chutzpah!
In case you haven't heard, Nicolas Cage and his wife Alice have named their baby boy Kal-el Coppola Cage. Good thing that kid is destined for private school with fellow Hollyweird progeny. Perhaps Nic can arrange some play dates for Kal-el with Moxie Crimefighter Jillette. They'd have the beginnings of a Junior Justice League.

Yeah, but having Penn Jillette for a dad would be infinitely cooler than having Nicolas Cage for a dad.

Am I the only one who sees the potential for some future patricides and matricides in these name choices?

If my parents named me Kal-el, I'd call myself Clark and tell everyone my parents were dead.

If I ever have a daughter, I promise not to name her Florence.

Oh.
My.
God.
It's a good thing Kal's parents are rich. Because the therapy bills are going to be HUGE before he even gets into high school.

Doug -- "Clark Cage" sounds like a guy you wouldn't want to mess with!

Rumour? Scout? Apple? And now Kal-el from Kripton?
Sheesh! These clueless 'stars' probably give better names to their dogs than their own children!
Now we know why most sane people either laugh at or completely ignore their political views. Their minds are in the ozone.
Earth to Nicolas??

When I was about 10, some kids accused me of being Superman (which is, I guess, a bad thing, since they were trying to use it as an insult) because my name was too similar to "Clark."
