Posted by Paul Musgrave at October 27, 2005 09:44 AM CommentsPosted by: Joshua Claybourn at October 27, 2005 11:03 AM | permalink I would have shared that sentiment had the Senate actually fulfilled its Constitutional obligation to block a crony like Miers, Josh, but there is a chance that she would have been confirmed. There is a chance that Miers actually knew that she not only had a massive uphill battle to fight in the Senate for confirmation, one that would have embarassed the president, but that she was wholly unqualified to sit as an associate justice on the Supreme Court.
