Here’s a piece of mine in today’s Evansville Courier & Press regarding city-county consolidation (registration required).

“stagnant and aging population” is a good description; boneheads like Harris show that Evansville’s population is not just stagnant in growth, but stagnant in mindset also.
I wish a brave, independent person would run against Hostettler in his own upcoming REPUBLICAN PRIMARY. That way, if the Dems have an uncontested race, Dems, Independents and everyday Republicans and conservatives who’ve tired of Johnnie Ho’s shrill parrot shrieks would have a chance to throw the bum out.
