Thought my Indiana brethren might have a comment on a suit filed by two former Indianapolis Star editorial writers claiming that the newspaper “”consistently and repeatedly demonstrated…a negative hostility toward Christianity.” I don’t read the Star, so I can’t comment on the substance of the charge at all, but perhaps Josh and others have some insight into this.
Taking down words has the authoritative smackdown on that one.
Which flavor of Christianity are we talking about? Are they demanding that Moslems, Jews, Lapsed Catholics, agnostics and “secular humanists” who believe the world ain’t flat be fired?
I didn’t comment on it because I don’t think the charge has any foundation. The editor of the Star’s opinion page is a regular reader of ITA, as you might be aware, and I know him relatively well. I feel I can say with certainty that, at least as far as the opinion page is concerned, it’s unfounded.

I did not, in fact, know that the editor of the Star’s opinion page is an ITA reader. I’m sure with the litigation, he cannot comment on anything here. The link that Doug provided certainly seems to suggest that the charges are unfounded as well.
