Novel idea

With increasing advertising rates and charitable giving to blogs, one man is trying to cash in on it. He offered his "services" for a fee to write and post comments on political blogs. As an added bonus, he also offered his services to government departments, ala Armstrong Williams. Sadly, bidding has ended at $10, but I'm sure there's room for copy-cats to offer their own services. I enjoyed reading that listing as I ate a delicious Hardee's burger.

If I could afford it, I'd pay for all Republican voters to eat early and often at Hardees between now and the 2006 midterm elections. ;-)

So, conservative posters, why aren't your ilk pissed off about the propaganda policies enacted by this administration that are being exposed left and right? It seems like you would not be all too happy to see government funds used to promote, without those listening or reading being told they're an active promotion and funded by the government, policy initiatives. What does it say about policy initiatives when they have to be propagandized for? It's an interesting situation that I haven't seen much attention paid to. I also don't have TV any longer, so that might have something to do with it.

Uh, they are. You don't have to look very far to find "pissed off" conservatives. Wendling had something here at ITA to say about it earlier.

Um, are we supposed to be jumping up and down, hopping mad, fueled by rage over this disgusting, but comparatively trivial, policy while elections are happening in Iraq, the budget is being prepared, and we're debating OASDI? Please. We conserve our outrage for targets that deserve it. (Our disdain, however, we dispense liberally.)

Just saying I haven't seen much about it.
