« Happy Festivus! | Main | Primary Source » December 24, 2004In MemoriamToday is my mother's birthday. She would have been 50 years old. For someone who has two websites with significant personal data on it, I'm actually a pretty private person. I only reveal what I choose to, of course, and that's a relatively small amount. But there's something about the experience of losing someone close to me that drives me to share part of the experience. Perhaps it helps keep their memory alive, but whatever the reason I appreciate ITA's gracious readers tolerating this recollection, with a link to my brief account of her final day. Losing my aunt in May to lung cancer left such a gap that sometimes leaving me stronger than ever, as if I feel invincible at what other trials could possibly be thrown before me to block the path I am intended for.
